Women's Only Programs and SpacesWomens Basketball

Queen’s University Athletics & Recreation is committed to providing an inclusive, accessible, and respectful experience for all its members, guests, volunteers, and staff. An individual’s physical or mental ability, level of health or well-being, physical size or fitness level, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, racial, ethnic, or cultural identity should not be a barrier to anyone visiting our spaces or participating in our programs.

Women’s Only Programs and Spaces aim to provide a safe, comfortable, and fun atmosphere for anyone at Queen’s University who identifies as a woman (women includes all cis and trans individuals who identify as a woman). Aimed at addressing historical and present-day under-representation of women in sport and recreation, dedicated women’s only programs and spaces help enable equitable access and ensure the benefits of active living are shared as broadly as possible.

Regardless of your motivation for using women’s only programs and spaces, whether you are just learning to use equipment or looking to get a great workout session in a group setting, our women’s only programs and spaces are designed to encourage women of all abilities to use our facilities and encourage equitable participation and a safe, empowering, and positive experience in your physical activity pursuits.
