LATE OR LOST EQUIPMENT RETURN POLICY
- Equipment rented out at the Q Services on Lower Level 2 is due back before the ARC closes that day.
- If the item is not returned by noon the following day, members will receive email reminders for a week that their equipment is overdue.Â
- If the equipment is not returned after 3 days the member's account will be made inactive and subject to an $8 administration fee.Â
- Once the equipment is a week overdue, the item is now considered lost, and unless the item is returned,  the member will be expected to pay the associated replacement cost for the item(s) as well as the administration fee, with the total cost charged to their account.Â
- Once the item is returned or the replacement cost is paid, the membership will be reactivated.

- Members may only sign out one specific item at a time to use at Queen’s Athletics and Recreation Facilities
- Members who would like to sign out multiple items, must request this in advance with Facility BookingsÂ
- Loaned equipment must only be used at facilities operated by Queen’s Athletics and Recreation.
- Equipment borrowed must be returned by the end of the day.
- Late equipment:
- Equipment not returned after three days will be considered late, and the following actions will occur:
- A late fee ($8.00) will be added to the member’s account.
- The member will be made inactive in the system (will lose access to the ARC) until the fee is paid and the item is returned.
- Once the equipment is returned and the late fee is paid, the member’s ARC access will be reactivated.
- Lost or damaged equipment:
- Equipment damaged or not returned after one week will be considered lost. Once a week has passed, the following actions will occur:

- Once the equipment is returned, or the replacement charge and late fee are paid, the member’s ARC access will be reactivated.
