Check out our active fun challenges! They can be a great way to get a taste of active living in a low stress environment. 

Why Challenge yourself? Challenging yourself helps build healthy habits and promotes self-discipline in a fun way. It also provides a sense of accomplishment which boosts confidence. Even if your challenge is small, keeping yourself accountable to complete it will boost personal growth and confidence!

Stay Active Without Working Out

  • Follow along with a seated stretching video to loosen your body up
  • Move to a different library or a different location in the same library
  • Take a lap around a floor in Stauffer Library
  • Use a restroom far away from where you’re sitting
  • Visit a friend on a different floor of the library
  • Take advantage of the Designated Movement Space located on the 4th floor of Stauffer Library
  • Dance while you do chores
  • Play Just Dance on your TV with your housemates
  • Walk with your friends to get a sweet treat

 

  • Take the stairs instead of the elevator
  • Walk downtown instead of taking the bus
  • Take breaks while studying to walk around and stretch your legs
  • Go for a mental health walk to clear your head
