About the Club
The Queen’s Competitive Dance Team is a student-led competitive group that provides experienced dancers with the opportunity to continue training and performing during their time at Queen's University. The team focuses on several styles including jazz, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop, and tap, and competes at select events throughout the winter semester.
Members attend weekly practices, participate in choreography sessions, and travel to three competitions. The year is concluded with a final showcase for family and friends to attend.
The team values collaboration and commitment, aiming to maintain a consistent standard of performance while supporting members in balancing their academic responsibilities.
