Alex Jones

My interest in health and fitness stems from my continuous involvement in sports growing up as a kid - specifically competitive lacrosse, volleyball, and rowing. I became involved in the coaching side during my Kinesiology undergrad here at Queen’s. Throughout my undergrad, I worked as a Strength and Conditioning coach for our varsity athletes, working predominantly with our men's rugby and soccer teams. Since graduating, I have worked as a strength coach for youth athletes, a personal trainer for general population, and a trainer for individuals with disabilities. This year I began my Master’s of Science in Physiotherapy, with a future goal to combine my understanding of health and fitness with rehabilitation and prevention of injury. On a personal level, I love to workout because it challenges me to become stronger and healthier everyday. I want to share my passion by challenging my clients to do the same.

Whatever your goals may be – whether it’s to become stronger, learn proper technique, learn how to organize your workout plan, improve your overall health, etc. – I’d love to be a part of your journey!
