Summer Fitness & Virtual Programs Schedule


Thank you for enjoying our Summer Virtual Fitness and Dance classes, we will be returning for Fall Virtual and In-Person Classes in mid-September, stay tuned on our social channel @QueensARC and at gogaelsgo.com/QueensGetsActive and our Member Portal at getactive.gogaelsgo.com.

Queen's Athletics & Recreation is committed to the health and well-being of the Queen's community. Our facilities have been reconfigured and our programs modified to align with provincial and public health requirements.
 
In-Person Group Fitness will be phased-in during the course of the Queen's Athletics & Recreation facilities re-opening following the current provincial lockdown in accordance with Public Health and University guidelines.

To help get you active in 2021 we are pleased to offer Virtual LIVE and On-Demand Fitness classes, Personal Training, and other ideas to engage with our community and participants in support of physical health, well-being and important social connections, especially for those either unable to return to campus this Winter or not quite ready to return in person. We are excited to find ways to keep the Queen's community active and connected during this time of physical distancing.

Please remember to consider your personal fitness level and health status before participating in exercise programs. While the benefits of physical activity usually outweigh any risks, it is always best to check with a medical professional to find out if a new activity is right for you.

Queen's Athletics and Recreation Centre Fitness Instructors are hosting live fitness classes in our virtual Zoom studio.  Enjoy joining these classes with other members of our Queen's Community and interacting with our instructors. With a variety of styles including: All Levels Yoga, Body Weight Blast, H.I.I.T!, Gentle Yoga, Tabata, Triple Threat, Ultimate Sculpt & Core, Zumba, and more, we have something for every workout style.

ICON-GroupFitness IN-PERSON GROUP FITNESS CLASSES

Outdoor Fitness classes continue through to August 27th 

You must register in advance, up to 72 hours in advance of the class, and a minimum of 15 minutes prior to the start time.

As per provincial and public health regulations, there will be a with a maximum capacity of 25 people per class. Please arrive with your mask on. Physical distancing (min. 3 metres) to be observed at all times.

No classes Monday, August 3

Participants highly encouraged to bring own mat (eg. Yoga mat) or towel, water bottle, and dress appropriate for the weather conditions.
Classes may be cancelled due to inclement weather (heavy rain, thunderstorms) and participants will be notified via email.
If unable to attend your class, please ensure registration is cancelled so others may participate.
