Toronto (November 21, 2007) - Mike Giffin of Kingston, Ont. was one of four Queen's University Golden Gaels who were selected to the 2007 All-Canadian football team as announced by the Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) Wednesday in Toronto.

Giffin, 22, earned a first team selection by becoming the first running back in Queen's University history to rush for over 1,000 yards while ranking as the nation's third leading rusher with 1,157-yards in 2007. He also set school records in scoring (96 points) and touchdowns (16) and finished tied for second in the CIS in rushing touchdowns with 12.
