Alison is a native to Kingston. She completed her PHED/Arts degree in 2009 at Queen’s University, while working with the Royal Military College sports therapy department. She attended Sheridan College to complete her bachelors in applied health sciences (Athletic Therapy), and promptly moved to Red Deer, Alberta to establish herself in a clinical setting. After 5 years, Alison has returned to Kingston in January 2019 to work with Q Sports Medicine.
Alison was a certified Strength and Conditioning coach for 10 years and has manual skills in Soft Tissue Release, and Osteopathic muscle energy for the cervical and lumbar spine. She is a practitioner of craniosacral therapy, visceral & neuromeningeal manipulation, and specializes in acute and chronic concussion care. Alison has thirteen years of field experience, focused with rugby, football, hockey, and cheerleading. She is also a competitive cheerleading and tumbling coach for Kingston Elite.
