Queen's Athletics & Recreation is one of the largest student employers on campus, giving students a chance to get involved on campus, develop life and professional skills and also connect with other members of the Queen's University community.

Career Services facilitates FREE workshops in Gordon Hall (3rd floor) throughout the academic year to help with your job application and interview process. By attending, you’ll gain valuable skills that can set you apart from the crowd! 

Prior to applying, we highly encourage you explore the following workshops: 

  1. Ramp Up Your Resume: This 50-minute session will help you use key strategies in your resume/CV for highlighting your unique skills, knowledge, and experience.
  2. Conquer the Cover Letter: During this workshop you will learn about key components and strategies that make the most difference when writing a cover letter. You will also work on exercises designed to get you started on customizing your cover letter.
  3. Winning Interviews: Attend your next interview feeling confident and prepared. Learn how to handle the "Tell Me About Yourself" opener, typical behavioural questions, difficult questions, and prepare questions for you to ask the interviewer.
