About Get Your 150


What is the Get Your 150 campaign?
The Get Your 150 campaign is designed to promote physical activity among the students and staff of Queen's University. According to the Canadian Physical Activity Guidelines, it is recommended that adults aged 18-64 should participate in at least 150 minutes of moderate to vigorous physical activity, every week. The campaign was designed in response to the National Collegiate Health Assessment results which determined only 23% of Queen's University students actually meet these Guidelines!
 
The campaign aims to educate students about the importance of physical activity for not only academic success but as well overall wellness. We promote a variety of ways for students to get 150 minutes of exercise a week.
