Aquatics

The Athletics and Recreation Center (ARC) pool is the perfect place to take your fitness and health routine to a whole new level! Our 38x25 metre pool features diving boards, separate gender and family change rooms, an accessible ramp and water lift, and friendly aquatics staff to answer any questions you may have.
We offer Red Cross Preschool, Swim Kids and Private/Semi-Private lessons taught by dynamic instructors. We also offer group adult and teen swimming lessons – we are here to teach you, from whatever level you’re at!

The ARC pool offers the Bronze Awards, National Lifeguard, Lifesaving Society Swim & Lifesaving Instructor training courses too. Need to re-certify your Standard First Aid, or NL certifications? View all of our aquatic leadership programs - Get Active At The ARC Portal (gogaelsgo.com).

All of our casual swim times and aquatics programs are open to members and the Greater Kingston community. Check out our casual swim schedule here. From time to time our hours may change, our swims may be shared with different groups or may be cancelled due to special events, facility improvements, maintenance, or staff training. We appreciate your understanding!
